How should I arrange the electrical connection before installation?

The person responsible for connecting the electrical line to the location where the charging device will be installed must be a qualified individual with an electrician certification. These professionals should follow the installation preparation guidelines provided in our installation manual.

What should I pay attention to regarding the installation site before installation?

The device to be installed must have a proper grounding connection. The suitability of the grounding values should be checked by qualified electricians.

The electrical line to be connected to the charging device must include a 4P-40A-30mA residual current circuit breaker and a 4P-40A C-type automatic circuit breaker at the input (values may vary depending on the product type).

What should I pay attention to in the building or facility's main electrical panel?

For our 44kW charging device, a 4P-80-30mA residual current circuit breaker (RCCB) and a 4P-80A type C automatic circuit breaker must be installed in the main electrical panel. The cable specifications for the connection from this line to the charging device should meet the following criteria based on the distance to the charging station.

• If the distance between the electrical panel and the device is less than 50 meters, a 5x10mm² cable should be used.
• If the distance between the electrical panel and the device is between 50 and 100 meters, a 5x16mm² cable should be used.
• If the distance between the electrical panel and the device is between 100 and 150 meters, a 5x25mm² cable should be used.

For a 22kW charging device, a 4P-40-30mA residual current circuit breaker and a 4P-40A C-type automatic circuit breaker must be installed in the main electrical panel. The cable specifications for this line should be as follows, depending on the distance to the charging device.

• If the distance between the electrical panel and the device is less than 50 meters, a 5x6mm² cable should be used.
• If the distance between the electrical panel and the device is between 50 and 100 meters, a 5x10mm² cable should be used.
• If the distance between the electrical panel and the device is between 100 and 150 meters, a 5x16mm² cable should be used.

For a charging device with 11kW power capacity, a 4P-25-30mA residual current circuit breaker and a 4P-25A C-type automatic circuit breaker should be installed on the main electrical panel. The cable specifications for the connection line will depend on the distance between the electrical panel and the charging device, as outlined below.

• If the distance between the electrical panel and the device is less than 50 meters, a 5x2.5mm² cable should be used.
• If the distance between the electrical panel and the device is between 50 and 100 meters, a 5x4mm² cable should be used.
• If the distance between the electrical panel and the device is between 100 and 150 meters, a 5x6mm² cable should be used.

For our 7.4kW charging station, a 2P-40-30mA residual current circuit breaker and a 2P-40A type C automatic circuit breaker should be installed on the main electrical panel. The specifications of the cable to be used for this circuit depend on the distance to the charging station as follows.

• If the distance between the electrical panel and the device is less than 50 meters, a 3x6mm² cable should be used.
• If the distance between the electrical panel and the device is between 50-100 meters, a 3x10mm² cable should be used.
• If the distance between the electrical panel and the device is between 100-150 meters, a 3x16mm² cable should be used.

What are the important factors to consider during installation?

The cable routed from the main electrical panel to the charging device must be physically protected using methods such as spiral pipes, PVC pipes, galvanized trays, or conduits. The route should be the shortest possible and buried at a minimum depth of 40 cm.
